Hi Team,
I have installed SAP LUMIRA 1.17.0 Desktop version and started exploring the product features.
Now I have found one error while retrieving the data from SAP ECC info set using “Query With SQL” Connection.
Please help / Guide me to resolve this issue
My SQL Syntax :-
select "VBRK-FKDAT" , "VBRK-VBELN" from "Global"."INFOSET"."SD_GENERAL_PRICE" where "VBRK-FKDAT" = '01.01.2014'

BW-Lumira : connection issue - no query is displayed
Hello,
I'm facing to a connection problem between Lumira SP17 and BW 7.01 (SP14): no BW query are displayed when I would like to create a dataset.
As it was indicated into a previous discussion, I've replaced (or deleted) all old copies of my saplogon.ini and SAPLOGON_INI_FILE environment is updated.
But unfortunately, connexion to my SAP BW system does not work. Moreover, if I use a non-existing user in Lumira, there is error message.
I've caught this error message:
No system nodes found on specified system types.No system nodes found on specified system types.
What could actions be performed to solve this issue ?

Comparison of Report Data
Dear Lumira Experts..
A client requirement of mine is
1. View Two Reports side by side
2. Two reports will save the same set of filter
Eg Sales Person, Product, Year
3. Selection should be made at run time where
SalesPerson = Mark, Product =Pen, Year =2013
SalesPerson = Rojer, Product =Pen, Year= 2013
4.Report should dynamically change
Is this possible to achieve
Please let me know, if my requirement is clear

LUMIRA Server 1.17 - Share option
Hello,
I created a stroy and a dataset and want to share this with other users. I created a user with role sap.bi.common::BI_DATA_CONSUMER but when I click on Share it opens up a pop up (see attachment) and from there it asks for "roles" to be assigned. There is just one option and I don't know how to proceed to share my stories with other specific users or users with a custom role.
Any ideas how to do this?

Is it Possible to Pass URL Parameters to Lumira
I am Building a Design Studio Analytical View (....I don't want to call it a Dashboard!) and want the Analyst to be able to Jump to a detail view.
I know I can jump to Crystal and Webi through URL parameters via OpenDoc ; can I do the same with Lumira?
Are there any other thoughts on the best way to drill down to Self Service tools.....ie. Analysis?

I've just begun learning about Lumira Server and one question really stands out (kind of a silly question really..)
Is there a difference between Lumira Server and simply accessing a HANA data source with a Desktop version of Lumira? I appreciate your insights.

SAP Lumira Connection to Protected App Server
Hi All,
Report in lumira on top of a universe, requires connection to BI application server (CMS Name, User ID & Password).
But in our production server we have siteminder integration and business users are not allowed to connect to application server directly, in this case can we use URL instead of CMS name OR is it possible to connect to application server without port opening to use Lumira ?

Accessing SAP HANA table via Lumira
Hi folks,
I just tried to access a table in HANA via SAP Lumira. Unfortunately I´m just able to access Analytic Views and Calc Views with SYSTEM user per default. Which rights are necessary to grant to the user to get access. It worked with PA on another client before.

New Dataset button disabled in Lumira
Hello All,
We have installed licensed version of Lumira desktop. We are using version 1.17.2. When we connect to HANA system, in the 'Prepare' tab, the option to add 'New dataset' is disabled. However if we use Lumira to connect to SQL via ODBC, the option becomes enabled.
Also there multiple options under the 'Share' tab like Export as file, Publish to SAP HANA,publish to explorer, Lumira cloud, Lumira server, SAP Streamwork and publish to SAP BI available when we connect to SQL. However none of these options are available when we connect to HANA expect, publish to lumria server.
Has anyone faced similar issues? We are currently user HANA sp6 and we have not installed Lumira server on BI. In such situations is there a way to share the Lumira content among the users?
Also when I click on Help-> Enter Keycode, it says you can enter a keycode to unlock disabled features, but it also says I have installed SAP Lumira Perpetual licence. Is there any other license we need to install ?

Which version of Lumira required to create Geographical Hierarchies for UK locations
HI Everyone,
I'm trying to create a scenario on Lumira which involves creating Geographical Hierarchies.
I’ve looked at information online which has left me wondering if I don’t have the best version of Lumira - as I understand Lumira comes with a prebuilt repository of locations – however the version I've downloaded doesn't seem to show any UK locations – only US.
Can someone advise how I can access the repository of non USA locations in Lumira please?
Under Help -> About it shows I have:

Function ToDate uses an invalid format 'yyyyMMdd' for parameter format. Try rewriting the formula.
How can I convert a date format such as "20140730" using TO_DATE()??
I have tried to create a calculated dimension with ToDate function but it seems Lumira didn't support with that specific format.

Hello,
I'd like to test "LUMIRA IN-MEM. FOR BI4 1.0" add-on but I can't find it in download section of "SAP Marketplace".
In "Installations and Upgrades", "L" section, I can't see "SAP LUMIRA IN-MEM. FOR BI4 1.0" that I should see according to :
"SAP BusinessObjects BI add-on for SAP Lumira
Document Version: 1.0 - 2014-06-19"
Do I need a specific profile ?
